The Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril attraction that opens on July 30, allowing brave guests to explore an archaeological excavation site aboard a runway mine car.
Inspired by the movie Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, the experience is created as part of a joint project between Disney and the film’s creator, George Lucas.
On December 10, Lucas joins Euro Disney’s new President Philippe Bourguignon and Indiana Goofy at the official inauguration ceremony. Despite the grey skies and heavy down pour, it takes more than a few drops of rain to dampen spirits at the event. It took Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril 9 month to be built. No attraction had been built that fast since… “It’s A Small World“ in its original version in 1964! Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril is the first Disney attraction in history to have an inversion.
Combined with the dramatic setting, the scene looks like a Hollywood blockbuster movie!
